Stand G70 at the National Franchise Exhibition

48 hours on from the national franchise exhibition

It was an incredibly beneficial 2 days for the NGI Franchise Funding Team who were in attendance for the first time at the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October. Networking with similar like-minded business professionals we had many positive conversations.

As well as receiving lots of interest in our business planning and business finance solutions from those that joined us on our exhibition stand, our Senior Consultant Chris Roberts was also in high demand. On both days he passionately presented the positives of business plans and funding made easy, which was received with great enthusiasm from all that attended.

Discussions took place with individuals who were interested in the opportunities of becoming a new franchisee, looking for help with developing an accurate business plan, understanding the relevant onboarding costs and how to maintain a healthy level of working capital.

There were many interesting discussions from a broad mix of sectors. There were the recognisable national fast-food franchisors along with some of the smaller growing brands from leisure and hospitality, recruitment, and domiciliary care.

Throughout the 2 days we were privileged to be the sponsored business hosting the exhibitions only Finance Clinic. We welcomed delegates along for one-to-one discussions on how they can easily access funding to enable the investment in a franchise. Again, demand was high and it was great to be able to share our knowledge with so many enthusiastic entrepreneurs.

Of course, it wasn’t just about becoming a new franchisee. There were also some excellent conversations with well-established franchise businesses. Companies who already have a successful operating model but, in order to fulfil future growth plans, they were seeking help on what the best options were for raising more funds.

Finally, our business planning team we also in high demand. It was another ideal platform to show why our business plan format is so widely recognised in the UK Franchise Sector. All of our business planning team were on hand and offered invaluable support throughout the two days.

The plan moving forward will be to continue to offer further help and support for all the positive conversations that we had over the 2 days. Of course, we will also be back next year to do it all over again.
